Magnus Murphy joelson: Skandinavia

Release date: March 6th, 2019

The places, people, and events in the life of Magnus Murphy Joelson have been transformed into tones and rhythms, forming what has become Joelson’s debut album.

Joelson manipulates places in Scandinavia, people, dates, bus schedules and fictive documentary film festivals through various compositional techniques to create the foundation for an emotional and technical journey through Scandinavia.

A group of young, skilled musicians with a deep understanding of Joelson both personally and musically creates an even deeper layer of the music through their adaptation of his creations.
